Το
2011 όπως αυτό αποτυπώθηκε μέσα από το φωτογραφικό φακό των
φωτορεπόρτερ, σε διάφορα σημεία του πλανήτη, όπου συνέβησαν σημαντικά
γεγονότα καταγράφει η λίστα με τις φωτογραφίες που ακολουθεί. Σίγουρα το
να διαλέξει κανείς τις καλύτερες και πιο αντιπροσωπευτικές φωτογραφίες
της χρονιάς, είναι μια ιδιαίτερα δύσκολη και υποκειμενική διαδικασία,
γίνεται ωστόσο πιο εύκολη όταν χρησιμοποιηθεί ως οδηγός η ειδησεογραφία.
Το
τσουνάμι στην Ιαπωνία και η Αραβική Άνοιξη, όπως χαρακτηρίστηκαν οι
αναταραχές στη Μέση Ανατολή, οι οποίες στη συνέχεια επεκτάθηκαν, λόγω
της οικονομικής κρίσης τόσο στην Ελλάδα όσο και στην Ισπανία, καθώς και
σε άλλες χώρες του δυτικού κόσμου, ήταν τα σημαντικότερα γεγονότα της
